Site Visit

The standard system we supply will suit the majority of people, but depending on your needs and your particular home you may need a customised quote.

You should contact your preferred plumber to arrange a time to visit the property, provide you with an installation quote and advise Endless Solar of any changes needed.

Talk to Your Plumber About

The following describes some of the most common considerations in a standard installation:

Length of Copper Piping
Your plumber should advise you how much copper pipe will be required.

Piping Insulation
Your plumber should advise you how much pipe insulation will be required. Good quality insulation is essential for your system to operate effectively.

General Power Outlet (GPO)
Installation of a new power point is required, when no existing electrical connection is available near the tank for the controller to be plugged into.

Extra Electrical
This is usually required when the position of the electric tank is to be moved. It is also needed when off peak power or a timer is to be connected to the tank.

Roof Flashings
This is used to ensure a neat, tidy, weatherproof and leak-free finish in cases where the piping is plumbed through the roof.

Pipe Covering
This is an optional extra used to hide piping insulation that is running down outer walls.

Sundries
This includes a range of small additions, such as (but not limited to) extra fittings, silicone, clamps, screws, sealing tape, gas, nuts and bolts.

Slab and Concrete
A concrete slab may need to be laid, to provide a stable level for the tank to stand on. This is usually required when the tank is to be installed in a new location.

Pitching Frames
Frames may be required if your roof has a low pitch or is flat. Contact Endless Solar if your plumber recommends a frame.

In all cases discuss your needs with your plumber.

Final System Selection and Payment

Alternate Systems
Customers have the option to downgrade/upgrade from the standard system configuration. For example they may choose to install a smaller storage tank, or go with an LPG instantaneous gas boost. They may also add extra components, such as pitching frames or more Evacuated Tubes. These changes are not included as part of the standard system and a new quote will be offered in these cases.

Full payment of your Final Quote is required before your system can be delivered. Once the full payment on a block of system orders has been received, your delivery can be scheduled.

Deliveries will be scheduled according to your place in the queue, which is determined by the date that your full payment was received by Endless Solar. The sooner you pay for your system, the sooner we can deliver your system.

NOTE: The expected delivery schedule may be affected by uncontrollable factors, such as weather.
