Endless Solar Evacuated Tube Solar Water Heater
Installing a solar hot water system is the single biggest thing an Australian household can do to reduce energy consumption. A normal electric hot water unit guzzles around one third of the energy used in your home. When you think about it, a conventional electric water heater is just like a giant kettle running for hours each day, using a considerable amount of energy.
Endless Solar’s Evacuated Tube Solar Hot Water Systems use the latest high-efficiency solar technology. When a high quality system such as ours is correctly matched to your needs, it can produce the majority of your hot water – from just the energy radiated from the sun.
Our systems are very efficient, however, we also pride ourselves on our reputation for high manufacturing standards, premium quality materials and the professional service that we provide to our customers.
Types of Solar Hot Water Systems
Endless Solar supplies a wide range of solar water heating solutions for households including:
Gas Boosted systems
Our gas boosted systems include an Endless Solar Evacuated Tube collector mounted on the roof with a solar storage tank located on the ground. A continuous flow gas fired heater is used to boost the temperature of the water in times of high use or extended rainy periods.
This is an incredibly efficient system and won the 2007 Energy Efficient Product of the Year Award.
Electric Boosted Systems
Our electric boosted systems include an Endless Solar Evacuated Tube collector mounted on the roof with a solar storage tank located on the ground. An in-tank electric element is used to boost the temperature of the water in times of high use or extended rainy periods.
Endless Solar supplies both lower-element and mid-element tanks; lower-element tanks must be connected to an off-peak supply or a timer which disables the element during daylight hours while mid-element tanks should be connected to a continuous electricity supply.
Retro-Fit Solar Systems
Our retro-fit systems include an Endless Solar Evacuated Tube collector mounted on the roof connected to an existing storage tank located on the ground. The electric element in the existing tank is used to boost the temperature of the water in times of high use or extended rainy periods.
The element must be connected to an off-peak supply/timer. We do not recommend retro-fit systems for existing tanks over 5 years old.
